Adecco identified that refugees face numerous challenges when integrating into new work environments, including language barriers, skill gaps, and cultural differences. This posed a significant challenge as these obstacles hindered their ability to secure stable employment and rebuild their lives effectively. The company committed to addressing these issues by pledging to find jobs for 85,000 refugees globally and to train 17,000 by the end of 2027. This initiative included partnering with NGOs and providing comprehensive support systems such as language courses and accreditations to improve refugees' employability. As a result, Adecco successfully connected 10,000 Ukrainian refugees with 2,000 employers, hired over 8,000 refugees, and offered free training to more than 1,300 individuals. These efforts have contributed to integrating refugees into the workforce, enabling them to gain financial autonomy and a sense of belonging within their new communities.
