Peel faced obstacles hiring remote talent, especially a remote Platform Engineer to support the platform’s expansion and evolution. Peel pursued nearshore hiring in LatAm and aligned the search around the role requirements and recruitment process. Sourcing started immediately and produced potential matches within two weeks. The process included 2 long live assessments, and only candidates who completed them successfully advanced. Three candidates were introduced for the Platform Engineer role, and one reached the final round and received an offer. Peel hired a Platform Engineer with 5 years of experience and then reopened hiring to add Front-end capability. During that second search, one candidate withdrew while two others excelled through subsequent rounds. Peel offered both remaining candidates roles, bringing the Front-end hiring to a close in around one month. Across both efforts, Peel filled 3 roles while maintaining a rigorous evaluation process.
